No signatures. ; 183, [1] pages."A courageous exposure of the sexual abuse to which the author was subjected when she began her ordination training for priesthood in the Anglican church. When she eventually discovered that many of her female colleagues had been similarly abused, they colectively initiated complaints through the statutes of church law. The church's hierarchy greeted the women's submission with hostility and blatant unwillingness to confront the issue. It is therefore also an exposure of the power of the church and the extent of its cover-up to protect both the male predator and the institution. The church struggled to deal with the issue of sexual abuse by male clergy, preferring to suggest that it was the fault of the women who were sexually abused, not the fault of the abuser. Tha main events of this story took place between 1981 and 1993 and it is now more than a decade since the stories of sexual abuse in the Anglican Diocese of Christchurch were revealed. There has been no compensation to the women nor any apology from the perpetrator."; 8vo
